The EX4 Professional Indoor Bike from Bodytone is a high-performance indoor bike inspired by the movement of road cycling and triathlon. Designed for professional athletes, it delivers exceptional results for facilities working on specific cycling training, high-intensity interval training and resistance training.
This indoor bike is equipped with unique features such as its splash-proof coating that protects it from damage caused by moisture. Its POLY-V® belt drive system was designed with Kevlar cords providing a larger contact area than V or flat belts, allowing for better transmission and a realistic feel. These Kevlar ropes are stronger and more durable than materials traditionally used in belt drive systems and require no tension or lubrication.
The EX4 bike is part of Bodytone's LEADER range, which offers premium cardio equipment for gyms and athletes looking for the best equipment. It is compatible with the optional M20X dashboard, which allows you to participate in virtual courses on Bkool, Zwift and Kinomap, and transfer data to training applications via Bluetooth 4.0. The M20X dashboard measures average speed, average cadence, calorie consumption, time and distance, and offers several functions such as power (in watts), time, distance, calories, speed, RPMs and BPMs.
The EX4's Spinning-style handlebars are ergonomic and covered in hypoallergenic porous foam for greater comfort. It is height adjustable with a snap-lock system, allowing it to be adjusted to different positions. Setting numbers are laser engraved and printed for easy use.
The EX4 saddle has a cut-out in the pelvic area and EVA foam padding specially designed for indoor use. It is covered in faux leather for optimal comfort. The saddle is also adjustable in height and depth thanks to a click-lock system, allowing it to be perfectly adapted to your size.
The EX4 crankset features a special design with a larger, splined axle, equipped with NTN bearings and a double system on the right side to reinforce the axle and prevent twisting. The distance between the pedal and the seat is 1011 mm. The pedals are SPD and VP Components X-93 combination pedals, perfect for use with cleated cycling shoes or normal sports shoes.
The POLY-V® belt drive system provides a larger contact area than V- or flat belts, allowing for better power transmission.
The 20kg CNC front flywheel is made from steel with a stainless steel braking zone.
